At Allswell, we're rethinking LGBTQ+ mental health with care that's affirming, accessible, and built for real lives. Our therapists make that possible. We take care of the logistics, so you can focus on doing what you do best: offering identity-affirming individual therapy to queer, trans, and gender-diverse adults across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.
We source all clients on your behalf so you can stay focused on serving them, not finding them. As an Allswell therapist, you'll work as an independent contractor, paid per session. All of our roles are fully remote to help us further expand accessibility for clients.
Why Choose Allswell?
At Allswell, we're not just building a therapy platform, but a community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ people. We're built on inclusivity and accessibility, serving those who have been historically underserved or who have had difficulty accessing affirming care, including Medicaid populations.
Working with us gives you learning opportunities to deepen your clinical experience with LGBTQ+ affirming clinical models. You'll get the chance to grow with a fast-growing, mission-driven, queer-led company, while maintaining autonomy in your work with flexibility in hours and caseload.

Earning with Allswell
Allswell is a fully remote platform that handles all the logistics, so you can focus on your clients. That means sourcing all clients on your behalf, while allowing you to set your own availability and caseload.
You'll work as an independent contractor, paid per session at a rate that reflects your experience level and licensure. Therapists who see more than 10 Allswell clients per week are also eligible for bonuses. Beyond compensation, Allswell provides no-cost supervision for therapists who require it and free access to Violet for CE credits and training. Investing in your growth is how we better show up for our clients, and you, the therapists who support them.

Preferred skills & attributes
Allswell is a queer-led organization that celebrates intersectionality, with staff that is 62% BIPOC, 24% transgender or gender nonconforming, and 62% neurodivergent.
We look for therapists who have experience in working with the diverse communities we serve, including folks who are LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and/or neurodivergent, while displaying competence in working with these populations within queer contexts.
We work with therapists trained in a range of evidence-based modalities so clients can find what best fits their needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT).
Many of our clients face systemic barriers including housing instability, food insecurity, and discrimination. We look for providers with experience in supporting LGBTQ+ communities navigating these and other challenges. Allswell therapists offer non- pathologizing, non-directive support for gender and identity exploration, while displaying competence in the nuances of working with transgender and nonbinary clients, including respecting pronouns, offering transition support, and in some cases, offering affirming documentation.
We look for therapists who have the lived experience, perspective, and tools to support clients, no matter what they're navigating in their lives, while having an awareness of intersectionality within LGBTQ+ communities, and the various other parts of life that come into play including race, disability, class, and immigration status, among other factors. Clients should be met with an open mind and nonjudgmental support, including when discussing sex and relationship diversity, such as polyamory, kink, sex work, and sex positivity.
As an Allswell therapist, we hope you'll show up for your clients with humanity, understanding, and compassion. Not just supporting, but celebrating what makes them, them.

"I love working at Allswell because it feels truly aligned in a way that's hard to find. There's something powerful about being part of a space intentionally created for the LGBTQ+ community, where both clients and providers can show up
authentically and feel understood. The supervision is incredibly supportive and thoughtful, and I've really valued the opportunity to grow alongside a team that's building something meaningful and needed."
